It’s built on webkit which is behind safari, but from what I see everything looks just like firefox.
it’s lightweight and fast, pretty slick. i like how you can view memory usage of particular tabs. problem is google is keeping track of most browsing behavior.

it’s OK – like the incognito tab feature and separate memory spaces (crashes effect a single tab rather than the whole browser), but what’s the point if you don’t have adblock plus?
plus they are using their own javascript engine that is supposed to be pretty accelerated. watch the cartoon they made on it, it explains it pretty well even if you dont have a software background.

So each tab acts as a standalone application, right? That would take more memory to keep running then.
All of the features they show are already in Safari, the moveable tabs, the incognito mode; the only new things I see are the standalone windows and the most visited sites window. It looks ok. So far not that different from any other browser.
