Most Influential Video Games
Not-really SFW Dreamcast girl.
Kotaku’s list of most influential. Lego Star Wars #23? Mario Kart #1? Ugh.

I’m no “gaming” expert, but that list does seem pretty bogus.
How is Mario Kart ahead of the original Super Mario World? Also, how is no Madden game on the list? That is probably one of the most widely played games ever…even the old ass Madden’s were fun as hell.
“He’ll remember that number!”

agreed – since it’s a list of most influential (and not necessarily the best), I would think madden would be on there, as well. super mario galaxy? that game has been out for 3 minutes, how is it influential?

It was a beautiful ceremony by the way.

It wasnt Kotaku’s list. It was Guiness list. This list made me cry. How could you not have the original Super Mario Brothers ahead of the other marios? FFXII instead of FFVII? FFVII changed the normals views of RPGS in the US.
THere was some other terrible things on the list but I have tried to block it from my brain.
List is awful.

Halo shouldn’t even be on that list. And Mario 64 should be in the top 5 easily.
