Thank you, Chicago
The Bears bail us out again (Cutler ‘09 debacle).
Why are you paying this soon-to-be-washed-up 30 year old freak 40 mil guaranteed? That’s nearly as bad as us paying 40 mil for “12 games a year” Buttersworth. At least he was 27 though.
I’m liking what I see from Bruce so far. Calm, quiet, collected. Calculated moves. I’m not sensing the Danny twitch finger on the trigger.
Though I hate to see Cwright and Griffin go. That was true Redskins Gibbs blood we lost.

You are welcome. We will take a 30 year old “washed up” freak any day of the week. He was the best available player to get and we got him. Even if he takes plays off from time to time, he’s still gonna be a big impact for our team…as will Chester Taylor. He’s old too…but low mileage. And he’s not gay like Portis.

Wow, that just sounded like an extremeskins post.
G/l with overpaying for old players, I’m sure it can’t go any worse for the bears than it has with the redskins EVERY FUCKING YEAR:
Dan Wilkinson, Dana Stubblefield, Bruce Smith, Deion Sanders, Jeff George, Mark Carrier, Jason Taylor, Brandon Lloyd, Adam Archuleta, Chad Morton, Antwaan Randle El, Andre Carter, Shawn Springs, Mark Brunell, T.J. Duckett, Brandon Noble, Jeremiah Trotter, Jessie Armstead, John Hall, DeAngelo Hall and Albert Haynesworth

Springs was our best CB when he wasn’t hurt, so that wasn’t such a bad pickup. And Carter has worked out pretty well. And don’t forget Fletcher; we paid retail for him but it was worth every penny.

Not feelin all the hate on Haynesworth. He was near the top of the team in snaps played before getting a little banged up toward the end, at which point there was no reason for him to play hurt and risk serious injury. And I don’t have a problem with a player getting winded when he motors through double-teams constantly. The dude is pure disruption, and he’s the reason why Andre Carter had a career year. It’s easy to hate on a 100-million-dollar man, and make “over-paid” arguments, but this is nothing like the Stubblefield situation where we paid out the ass for a guy whose statistics were inflated because of all the other great players he was playing around. Hayneworth is actually a great one.

P.S. Fred Davis is fucking beast, and we should trade Cooley for draft picks before he has a motorcycle accident or something crazy like that.

Yes. This was the most important thing heading into the offseason. And the great thing is that while Marty once had this same approach and was only given a year, this time its different because its 2 football guys running shit. Shannahan and Allen together can tell snyder to fukkoff. While Marty had to deal with Cerrato undermining him.
So what are the skins doing with number 4?

If for some un-Godly reason, Suh is at 4, TAKE HIM! But I have a bad feeling he is going to end up a Lion and we face him twice a year.
Is Jason Campbell still going to be starting QB?
I laughed when I saw that the Skins have interest in Rex Grossman…good luck with that! I’ll take Cuntler any day.
